City of Falls Church Hosts Concerts in the Park Thursdays, June 25-Aug. 6
Enjoy the best of summer at the 17th Annual Falls Church Concerts in the Park series every Thursday at 7 p.m., June 25- Aug. 6. Bring a blanket and a picnic and enjoy performances by local musicians. Each concert also features local artists and their artwork. All concerts are free to the public and are held at Cherry Hill Park (312 Park Ave.). In the event of rain, concerts will be held in the Falls Church Community Center located next to the park at 223 Little Falls St. For more information, call 703-248-5077 (TTY 711).
The concerts are sponsored by the City of Falls Church Recreation & Parks Division and the Village Preservation and Improvement Society, with support from the Kokolopori Falls Church Sister City Partnership. Local artists are sponsored by Falls Church Arts.

One exciting feature of the new www.FallsChurch.Biz is our "News from the Community" feature. This feature permits registered users of the website to submit and self approve news and announcements in a variety of categories. Available categories include "Community & Civic Organizations", "Neighborhoods & Communities," "Churches & Religous Groups", "Charitable Organizations", "Local Business News", "Local Schools & Educational Institutions", "Sports & Recreation", "Death Notices & Obituaries", "Job Promotions, Awards & Honors", "Governmental", "Birth Announcements", "Marriages", "Fairs & Festivals", and "Local News." This feature also allows us, upon reciept of a request from you, to create a special subcategory for any individual group, and the ability to post and approve news under this subcategory can be restricted to members of your group designated by you.

If your organization, business, sports team, neighborhood, home owners association or other group desires to make regular use of this website feature, please contact us and request that we establish a seperate subcategory under the appropriate category - this will aid visitors and your members to locate the latest news and announcements of your group. If you send us an electronic .gif or .jpg picture or image of your facility or logo, we can post that so that it appears with the Section devoted to your organization or group.
